Role: Software Asset Manager

Required Experience and Skills

• Strong experience in developing and implementing SAM Process
• Certifications relevant to software asset management (e.g., CSAM, CITAM).
• Responsible for providing expert knowledge and guidance in the management and optimization of software assets.
• Responsible for advising on best practices, developing strategies for effective software asset management, and ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
• Develop and refine SAM policies and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior management to integrate SAM strategies into broader IT and business plans
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for software acquisition and usage
• Use data analytics to drive decisions and improve SAM practices.
• Extensive experience in software asset management, including hands-on experience with SAM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of software licensing, compliance, and industry best practices.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from USD 60000/annum to USD 135000/annum. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
