JOB PURPOSE
MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest cruise line brand, is expanding its operations and seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. Reporting directly to the U.S. General Counsel, this position will play a critical role in providing comprehensive transactional, corporate governance, and compliance support. The Corporate Counsel will collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, procurement, and operations teams. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the office, in Miami.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements, including sales, marketing, procurement, and information technology agreements.
- Advise on transactional, corporate governance, compliance, privacy, and intellectual property matters.
- Develop and improve standard templates for high-volume agreements and create bespoke agreements for non-standard business needs.
- Assist in the development and drafting of policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years in a major law firm or corporate legal department handling general corporate, transactional, commercial, and intellectual property legal matters.
- Significant commercial contract review and drafting experience.
Certification / License
- License to practice law, Florida Bar preferred.
