What You’ll Do:

• Own the Codebase : Act as the sole engineer in the early stages, writing and reviewing code across our entire tech stack.
• Technical Vision & Strategy : Define and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with the company’s mission to leverage AI for deeper customer insights and revenue growth.
• Team Leadership : Recruit, mentor, and inspire a small high-performing engineering team that thrives in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Architecture & Infrastructure : Own the end-to-end architecture, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CDK, RDS, VPC).
• Product Collaboration : Work closely with our executive team to create seamless user experiences in React and React Native.
• AI & Prompt Engineering : Incorporate innovative AI/ML methodologies (LLMs, RAG, Fine Tuning, etc) into the product to enhance insights and deliver actionable results.
• Code & Culture : Champion best practices, foster a collaborative engineering culture, and stay ahead of emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• ? Hands-On Developer : Skilled at building products end to end, with the ability to tackle frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure challenges.
• Proven Technical Expertise : Significant experience designing scalable systems, preferably with AWS cloud services and TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Leadership Background : Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams in a high-growth startup environment.
• AI/ML Knowledge : Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, natural language processing, and prompt engineering.
• Product-Focused Mindset : Keen understanding of user-centric development and how to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Startup Spirit : Willingness to move quickly, iterate frequently, and adapt as we scale our team and product offerings.
