Title: Civil Engineer - EIT

Location: Richmond, TX 77407

Duration: PERM

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (flexibility on start and end time)

Salary: $60-80K + Benefits, great culture


Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Must be registered and active E.I.T. with ability to obtain P.E. License
  • 1-2+ years of engineering experience related to Land Development projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with Microsoft platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be reliable and self-starter

Day to Day :

A client in Richmond, TX is looking for an Civil Engineer E.I.T. to provide engineering support on a variety of projects related to residential and site development projects. This individual will have a thorough understanding of the latest regulatory design criteria to provide solid decision-making and assist in professional recommendations regarding infrastructure planning and design. The day-to-day responsibilities are listed below:

  • Support feasibility studies for new project acquisitions by identifying constraints, preparing cost estimates, and developing comprehensive project schedules.
  • Produce detailed design plans for regulatory agency and client submissions and approvals.
  • Assist the Project Manager with engineering design tasks, technical reports, and construction management, including site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate and execute engineering services for assigned projects, including engineering reports, design calculations for infrastructure and drainage systems, overall grading, and pavement design.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and agency review meetings.
  • Stay updated on regulations and criteria from local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Implement innovative design concepts to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
  • Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance the company’s goodwill and profitability.
  • Understand and follow procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve successful outcomes and meet deadlines.
