B shift: Monday - Thursday 3 pm - 1:30 am
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on environmental stress screening (thermal, vibration, and pressure) on flight hardware according to company procedures.
- Assist with the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and DAQ equipment including PT's, TC's, voltage, and current mass flow meters.
- Coordinate with test engineers and engage with management on daily test activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on machines, equipment, and work areas according to 5S standards and maintenance programs.
- Set up and operate fast-paced systems safely.
- Manage multiple test projects concurrently while supporting operational schedules.
- Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation according to test plans and standards.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of environmental test experience or competence in Vibration, Shock, or Specification Performance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills, including work prioritization, scheduling, and providing succinct status reports.
- Ability to self-start, find clarity in ambiguous situations, earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing and test processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis, and data processing.
- Experience with drawings, shop orders, and detailed work instructions.
- Experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Proficiency with software systems, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for limited durations.
Preferred skills:
- Associate or technical degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Non-conformance systems, Ticketed request systems, and order scheduling systems.
- Experience using and maintaining calibrated equipment.
- Familiarity with GSE/Fittings.
- Ability to apply test instrumentation and control components such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, flow meters, load cells, relays, and solenoid valves.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics and reports.
- Familiarity with National Instruments, Dewesoft, and Arduino (LabVIEW / Test Stand).
