Now Hiring - Part-Time - Software Systems Analyst - Fort Lee, NJ

We are seeking a Part-time Systems Support Analyst to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and optimizing the functionality of our systems, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows. The Systems Support Analyst will collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendors to resolve issues, implement system updates, and enhance system performance, ensuring that the system supports the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support: Provide day-to-day support for the EMR system, responding to and resolving technical issues reported by end-users, including clinical staff and administrators.
User Training & Documentation: Assist in the training of new users on system functionality, workflows, and best practices. Develop and maintain training materials and user documentation.
System Configuration & Customization: Support the configuration, customization, and integration of software to meet organizational and regulatory requirements, working closely with the IT team and vendor support as needed.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner. Work with the technical team and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.
System Updates & Maintenance: Monitor and apply software updates, patches, and upgrades to the software system to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a liaison between clinical departments, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure efficient software system operations and address user concerns.
Data Security & Compliance: Ensure that the software system is secure and complies with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH), working with the IT and compliance teams to implement necessary security measures.
Reporting & Analytics Support: Assist in generating standard and ad hoc reports from the software system to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
Problem Management & Root Cause Analysis: Document issues, track resolutions, and provide analysis for recurring problems to implement permanent solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in system testing, validating updates, and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure functionality and quality of software system - related releases.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
•Experience supporting Software systems
•Experience troubleshooting and supporting healthcare IT systems
Technical Skills:
•Strong knowledge of software systems (EMR, Enterprise) and their integration with other healthcare applications.
•Experience with healthcare IT infrastructure and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
Soft Skills:
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendors.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
•Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and data privacy standards.
•Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call support during evenings or weekends, as needed.
