Job Description
Our school district near Riverside, Illinois is seeking a Master's level Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a maternity leave position. We are ready to interview and finalize contracts for this full-time temporary role.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation outcomes and client-specific goals.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to establish and track therapy objectives.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluations, therapy plans, and progress.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
• Educate clients and families on communication and swallowing disorders, providing practical strategies to enhance progress.
• Provide compassionate and individualized therapy services to clients with diverse needs.

Requirements

• Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification
• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• PEL certification is required before the beginning of the assignment
• CFY's are encouraged to apply and will be considered (supervisor provided)
• Must have the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois; license reimbursement is available.
