Within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s (CDCR) adult correctional facilities, you will find like-minded professionals committed to providing optimal care and honing advanced psychopharmacological skills.As a Psychiatrist, you will be an integral member of an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team which includes other psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers. In general, you will perform psychiatric evaluations, participate in treatment planning and case reviews, prescribe medications, and provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
