Job Description:
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Childrens prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population, from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication and swallowing.
Education Requirements:
- Masters Degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university
Experience Requirements: - 1 year of Pediatric work experience (school experience will not be considered)
- Feeding/dysphagia and ICU experience
Certification/License/Registry Requirements: - AZ Department of Health Services license (must be obtained prior to start date)
- AZ Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to start date
- ASHA certification prior to start date
