Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Care Join one of Seattle's premier healthcare institutions as an Oncology Registered Nurse, where you'll deliver compassionate, specialized care to cancer patients while advancing your career in a supportive, innovative environment. Position Overview As an Oncology RN, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing comprehensive care to patients throughout their cancer journey. Working 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), you'll combine clinical expertise with empathetic care to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Core Responsibilities Deliver specialized oncology nursing care through comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and implementation Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments, managing side effects and patient response Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, symptom management, and home care Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation Serve as a patient advocate and resource for the healthcare team Required Qualifications Active Washington State RN license BSN from an accredited nursing program BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg Oncology nursing experience NRP certification Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities About Seattle Seattle offers an unparalleled quality of life, combining urban sophistication with outdoor adventure.
