Overview:
Creative Learning Center is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Redwood City, CA!
The Creative Learning Center is a state-certified, K-12 private day school in California for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurological disorders.
Our comprehensive services available across the South Bay, Peninsula, and San Francisco Bay Area are designed to meet the unique needs of the whole student. We are a division of the LEARN Academy, a national leader in special education, academic intervention, and behavioral services for autism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct service delivery as indicated by childs IEP and/or Treatment Plan under direction of supervising SLP
- Complete related service procedures: treatment planning, record keeping, and progress monitoring
- Develop supplementary documents and/or materials relevant to treatment goals and implementation
- Communicate pro-actively and effectively with SLP supervisor regarding progress and/or concerns
- Communicate effectively with instructional staff regarding learners strengths and needs following direction by supervising SLP
- Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary professional development (meetings, in-services, etc.) ?
- Maintain cleanliness and integrity of therapy materials and school environment
- Communicate concerns to SLP Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Associates in speech-language pathology assistant
- CA SLPA License
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use initiative in taking the first steps or to act without being urged to complete projects and/or work

Compensation Range:
$35/hr - $45/hr
