Full-time HVAC Tech for Munster location

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager of Plant Operations, oversees and repairs the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of the Hospital while focusing on patient, visitor and staff safety. In addition, also maintains the medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, and the pumping distribution and piping systems for HTHW, LTHW, chilled water, steam, potable water, medical air, vacuum and oxygen. Operates high-pressure hot water boilers, absorption chillers, centravac chiller, steam generators, electric power generators and performs water treatment procedures. Maintains, repairs, and installs heating, cooling and air conditioning systems and equipment of the Hospital.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• High school education required
• 5 years job related experience preferred
