Job Responsibilities: Using various diagnostic tests to determine the condition of patients’ teeth and utilize diagnostic records to diagnose and determine a treatment planTreating malocclusion and other orthodontic-related patient concernsInstructing assistants on orthodontic procedures and techniquesFitting patients for various orthodontic appliancesEducating patients on ongoing orthodontic careMay assist with community involvement programs and marketing and the promotion of the businessAdhere to all Orthodontic Partners policies and core valuesOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:High level knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment planningUnderstand and can effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic fieldHave a detailed knowledge of dental insurances, service limits, and be able to answer some general inquiriesCustomer service or sales experience, along with dental knowledge preferredHave excellent written and oral communication skillsCompassion and high level of service for our patients, parents, and staffIntegrity, always doing the right thingDependable, reliable to be at work when scheduledAble to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlinesEducation and Experience:DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental AccreditationCertificate of completion of a residency from an accredited postgraduate Orthodontic program0 – 3 Years as a practicing OrthodontistCurrent, valid license to practice dentistry in the state where providing care (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensureOther certifications as required by state to include CPR, DEA, etc.#J-18808-Ljbffr
