Novak & Parker Home Appliance is a premium appliance retailer catering to designers, builders, architects and their clientele in the Chicago-Metro and Southern Wisconsin Markets. We are seeking a qualified Retail Sales Associate that has customer centered focus. This Individual will assist our client base in appliance selection, delivery, installation and after sale support process.
The Sales Associate will work directly with our Sales Manager to ensure maintenance of our existing customer base and cultivation of new customers, designers, builders, architects, remodeling groups and their clientele. They are to provide a comprehensive appliance selection process, product specifications and follow up support throughout the sales process. This individual will embody the core values of Novak & Parker Home Appliance in providing an extraordinary customer service experience.
Essential Functions:
•Direct Selling, Account Management & Business Development: o Meet with clients and trade partners (designers, builders, architects, remodeling groups, vendor referrals, etc.) to conduct sales consultations for appliance selections. o Maintain and develop a referral network of designers, builders, architects and remodeling groups as to (continually, ongoing):
•Organize, prepare and submit sales proposals/sales orders based through either direct consultations, online or email based requests or project based submittals.
•Follow up on all current open proposals to either identify further request's and/or advance the sale opportunity.
•Specification package creation, submittal to both trade personnel and homeowners
•Scheduling of Delivery and installation on behalf of Clients
•Negotiate with vendors on behalf of clients for augmented pricing schedules, special circumstance concessions (damage allowances, return authorizations, parts/labor concessions, etc)
•Assist traditional retail consumers with product information and selections. Read and interpret design submittals , architectural plans o Will be required to maintain customer satisfaction metrics along with identified sales volume and profit goals o Will be asked to work autonomously with, at times, little oversight into account management activities o Will be required to follow up with clients or trade partners as need presents d o. o Assist Manager with duties and responsibilities not listed above
Training, Event Facilitation and Continuing Education: o Attending vendor sponsored trainings Attending of Events at Vendor Design Centers, Showrooms and
Facilities. Meet with Vendor representatives and market managers for in-store trainings
Skills and Qualifications:
1+ years in an account management or elevated sales position; Strong Verbal and Written communicator; Technological curiosity;
Professionalism; Microsoft Office; Microsoft excel; CRM; Negotiation Abilities.'
Compensation: $37,240.00 - $120,000.00 per year
As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
