Sales Coordinator to support our Sales and Catering team and ensure seamless execution of small events and group bookings. In this dynamic role, you'll be the go-to person for both our clients and Sales Managers, making sure every detail is covered, from initial inquiries to post-event follow-ups.
Your Role: As the Sales Coordinator, you'll assist the team by handling administrative tasks, qualifying leads, and ensuring client satisfaction. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Manage the organization of sales files, client inquiries, and leads.
- Handle incoming inquiry calls and ensure they are addressed professionally and promptly.
- Assist with preparing sales contracts, banquet event orders, and client communication, keeping everything accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate small meetings and groups, ensuring all logistics, rooming lists, and guarantees are taken care of.
- Actively call on clients, build a pipeline, and generate new leads for the hotel's catering services
- Oversee meetings and events to ensure guest satisfaction and process final billing.
- Help with creative projects, including invitations, special events, and promotions.
- Provide support for site inspections and client visits, ensuring all arrangements are handled professionally.
- Assist in maintaining supplies and promotional materials for the sales team.
- Occasionally assist with hotel operations during high-demand times or staffing shortages.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements What We're Looking For: - 1+ year of sales or administrative experience in hospitality preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is a plus.
- Must be proficient with Windows operating systems. Familiarity with sales software is preferred.
