Role Overview:
The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, managing resources effectively, and ensuring that all projects meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within engineering or technology fields, and excel in driving projects to successful completion.
Pay Compensation:
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate issues.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Provide clear and consistent communication regarding project status, timelines, and key updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, resource reallocation, and budget modifications, while maintaining a high level of project quality.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, driving project success through clear direction and support.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree and minimum of 5 years experience, or MS/MA degree and 3 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 7 years experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering, technology, or consulting environment.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for project site visits and stakeholder meetings.
