Senior Content Editor at Wolters Kluwer in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description LOCATION: Maryland or Remote U.S. OVERVIEW As a Senior Content Editor (Senior Development Editor) for the Nursing Education and Nursing Practice portfolios, you have an opportunity to join an award-winning team who is passionate about creating quality content and delivering that content in innovative solutions. You will have the responsibility for developing content and assets for books and digital products that span from undergraduate nursing education into nursing practice. You will serve as the owner of your assigned products during the development cycle to ensure we are delivering the most current evidence-based content for our customers by ensuring that the products (and their related resources) deliver on time, on spec, on scope, and on budget. Collaboration will be a important for success, because you will work in close partnership internally with the Editorial Operations team, Acquisitions Editors, Digital Product Managers, Marketing, and Sales, and externally with vendors, authors, and subject matter experts to ensure that we are producing exceptional content that delights our customers This is an individual contributor role. You will report to the Manager, Content Editing. RESPONSIBILITIES You will manage the product development cycle in collaboration with the Editorial Operations team or Digital Product Manager, for all assigned projects, including textbooks, digital assets, videos, and ancillaries. You will (1) collaborates with the Acquisitions Editor/Digital Product Manager and Marketing Manager in product planning and evaluation; (2) work with subject matter experts, authors, vendors, and in-house staff to develop core content that is suitable for multiple types of platforms and is appropriate for customers; and (3) will be responsible for supporting an assigned project once it is released to the Editorial Operations team. Product Planning and Evaluation + Collaborate with Acquisitions Editors/Digital Product Managers to formulate market surveys, desired outcomes for focus groups, and/or scripts for other planned activities to gather customer insight and feedback. + Communicate/interact with customers through surveys, focus groups, advisory boards, or other planned activities to understand their needs and pain points, learning environment, and market trends. + With the goal of solving customer problems and driving market share growth, provide written analysis of customer feedback and competitive products to: + To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
