Please be aware that applications from candidates residing outside of California will not be considered.OVERVIEWMovement Strategy is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to lead the development, creation, and publication of engaging, original content across various social platforms for a food delivery company. This role requires a dynamic creator who excels in on-camera presence, video production, and editing to connect with audiences authentically and creatively. You will report to the Director of Content & Engagement and collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Strategists to bring the brand's voice to life.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for creating content that resonates with modern audiences, stays on top of social trends, and leverages storytelling to build brand identity and community engagement.KEY FOCUS AREASContent Creation: Develop, script, film, and edit original video content tailored for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Stay ahead of social trends and translate these trends into creative content that reflects the brand's voice.Content Coordination and Management: Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Content Editors, Copywriters, and other stakeholders to plan and organize the content publishing schedule. Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and style to ensure high-quality standards.Community Management: Create content that encourages genuine interactions with the audience. Monitor feedback and comments to refine your approach and improve engagement.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile content creation apps. Optimize content for each platform, considering format, style, and best practices.Platform Management: Maintain channel best practices when publishing and updating content across client-specific platforms to optimize visibility and reach.Compliance and Copyright: Ensure that all published content adheres to copyright and intellectual property regulations.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Creative, Project Management, and Account teams to align content publishing with overall marketing strategies.Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that published content is error-free and meets the highest quality standards.QUALIFICATIONS + KEY FOCUS AREAS1-3+ years of experience, working with entertainment/brand clients, agency setting preferredBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fieldProven experience in digital content publishing, content management, or a similar roleStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsFamiliarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniquesProficiency in content management systems and basic image editing toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality contentAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility working weekends, holidays, early mornings or eveningsIDEAL QUALITIESProactive and naturally curious about the digital and social spacePassionate about the work and treats clients' businesses as if they were your ownCreates a positive and open environmentUnmatched attention to detailDiverse and inclusive perspectiveSALARY & COMPENSATIONIn compliance with local and state law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City, Colorado, and California.
