Description Western Wisconsin Health is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our Baldwin Clinic! We are looking for a provider who shares WWH's vision of creating healthier tomorrows for our patients and is passionate about supporting our community members along their wellness journeys.
As a key member of our health care team, the Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) will collaborate with Providers to provide comprehensive patient care. The Orthopedic PA will have a strong clinical background in orthopedics with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
In partnership with the Orthopedic Surgeon, the Orthopedic PA will actively participate and provide direct support to the surgeon in completing the surgical procedure safely and expeditiously. They will collaborate with doctors and the surgical team to ensure proper preoperative and postoperative care of the patient. Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate degree from accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current state and national certification
- Certification as a Surgical First Assist
- Prior experience or strong interest in orthopedics
- Two years of experience as an Ortho PA is preferred
Work schedule: - 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period
