Pediatrician Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries, administer vaccinations, and provide immunization counseling. Your role will also involve conducting physical examinations and developmental assessments for pediatric patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and developmental assessments for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries.
- Administer vaccinations and provide immunization counseling.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about preventive healthcare practices and disease management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Provide counseling and support for pediatric patients and their families regarding health concerns and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid state medical license.
