Job Description Position : Gastroenterologist with Advanced Training
Location : Near Otsego Lake, New York

We are in search of a dedicated Gastroenterologist with advanced training to join our reputable academic health system in Central New York. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage in clinical practice and educational activities.
Integrated Health System : Our health system serves an eight-county region and is affiliated with five hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community health centers.
Patient-Centered Care : You will work alongside a committed team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Educational Component : This role involves teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, contributing to the academic mission of our institution.
Responsibilities :
- Join an established group of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers.
- Perform a wide range of gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP and EUS.
- Focus on clinical gastroenterology and liver disease.
- On-call schedule no more frequent than 1:4.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for seamless patient care.
Requirements Requirements: :
- MD or DO degree.
- Fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Eligibility for NYS Licensure.
- Strong commitment to patient care and medical education.
