Our client is an industry/global leader in developing consumer products such as hygiene, health and beauty, life care as well as cosmetics. They are looking for a **Microbiologist** to join their growing team!

**Location:** Cincinnati, OH

**Pay:** $23/hour

**Schedule:** M-F normal business hours

**Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct testing methods such as reading plates after incubation, conducting results calculations, capturing results and related information in data collection systems, and communicating any discrepancies or deviations.

+ Ensure incoming samples are properly tested and paperwork is completed with the necessary documentation.

+ Make observations and help to interpret microbiological results including helping to execute standard and non-standard technical protocols and summarize key learnings.

+ Ensure compliance with systems and applicable SOPs.

+ Monitor the laboratory environment via microbiological sampling, as well as perform temperature or humidity checks as appropriate.

+ Run media melt cycles in the autoclave, run biohazard cycles in the autoclave as needed.

+ Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree in microbiology, biology or related discipline.

+ Minimum 1 year of professional industry experience within microbiology.

+ Ability to operate balances, autoclaves, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and pipettes is necessary to be successful in this role.

+ Ability to perform all required tasks utilizing aseptic technique.
