What you will do at Integral Molecular Immediate responsibilities
- Help Desk Management : Triage and resolve help desk tickets which includes troubleshooting efforts for issues involving workstations, office devices, email, cloud resources printing services, user accounts and network connectivity.
- Technology Implementation : Deploy new Windows workstations and reimage/repurpose existing workstations. Maintain and deploy standard office devices such as printers, scanners, and VoIP phones. Coordinate, deploy and maintain laboratory devices to support scientific activities
- System and Network Administration : Manage Windows domain environment including Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and File services. Support Microsoft 365 environment including Active Directory syncing, user mailboxes, 365 and Teams groups and SharePoint sites. Oversee user account management, permissions, and system monitoring to ensure security and optimal performance.
- IT Security : Proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats. Manage perimeter and endpoint security technologies as well as network configurations
- User education : Provide user education and train on effective use of technology. by having excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Growth-oriented responsibilities
- Project Leadership : Begin with small IT projects and progress to leading company-wide initiatives, including the evaluation and deployment of new IT technologies.
- Strategic IT Participation : Actively contribute to the IT committee, providing insights to align IT initiatives with company objectives.
- System Optimization : Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for better IT performance.
The successful candidate will have Experience - At least 3 years in IT support, network and systems administration, or Tier 2/3 help desk roles.
- Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware such as firewalls, routers, switches, storage devices, servers
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) including IAM, virtual machine creation and cloud networking
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and compliance standards (NIST and ISO 27001)
- Strong understanding of the OSI Model, ports and protocols
- Ability to diagnose and remediate networking issues, software issues and security threats.
Preferred, But Not Required - Knowledge of Linux based operating systems.
- Experience with PowerShell and PowerShell/Python scripting
- CompTIA or similar certifications.
