The Role:
As a Senior Social Media Specialist, you will have ownership over copywriting and community management on the accounts you're assigned and support crafting the strategy behind the social content you create. You will interact with clients via email, phone, and/or video calls (e.g., status calls). You will have a key role in conducting research, monitoring platform updates, and trend monitoring and will support turning these insights into strategies in collaboration with your manager and/or other senior team members. This is a hybrid role with required travel to our Philadelphia, PA office reporting into a VP, Social Strategy.
You will:
Client Partnership

• Provide social media support on multiple client accounts
• Execute and/or oversee a variety of client program activities including research, social media monitoring, and establishing relevant relationships on behalf of clients with online advocates and influencers
• Develop drafts of client documents including social media posts, results reports, influencer mapping and summary reports, etc., and proof all documents for accuracy before providing to other team members or client for review
• Liaison with company partners and vendors on client projects as appropriate
• Manage comprehensive social media projects and/or influencer events including logistics, timetables and deadlines
• Provide creative input in developing social strategy documents

Business Development & Operations

• Participate in new business brainstorms and conduct research on new business projects
• Expand skillset to ensure familiarity with paid social and cross channel best practices
• Support management of Inizio Evoke Comms' social media channels
• Track content performance with ability to discover and implement actionable insights
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media tools as well as web-based research tools, i.e., Brandwatch, Julius, etc.
• Aid in the development of new business materials (presentations, RFP responses) as appropriate

Leadership & Teamwork

• Display an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and make significant contributions to the team
• Work closely and collaboratively with interns and Social Media Specialists, helping to mentor and provide direction on projects as needed
• Encourage and respond to feedback from manager and team members
• Demonstrate ability to work across teams, adapt to project needs, different team working styles, etc.
• Partner with account teams to meet client needs, communicating project objectives, direction, and timing
• Support company values and an inclusive culture

Effective Communication

• Ensure accuracy of all written projects, including grammar, fact-checking, adhering to platform best practices and referencing documents
• Create engaging copy and assets for client social media platforms, in partnership with agency's creative team
• Demonstrate analytical skills to carry out a metrics-driven approach to content creation
• Take opportunities to lead in client interactions

You will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in communications / marketing / advocacy / digital / social media
• 2+ years' communications or related marketing / advocacy / digital / social / health experience; partnership, US/global health issues or health product communications experience
• Strong understanding of all social media platforms
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Solid research skills
• Passionate about improving lives through innovations in health
• Social and traditional media experience

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary - that's why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
Compensation
$60,000-$75,000 USD
