Job Accountability/Responsibilities: Primary Functions: - Seek out new customers and partner with existing ones by offering a variety of solutions to improve their business and take exceptional care of your clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage assigned sales territory and grow sales pipeline
- Establish and strengthen relationships with decision makers for current and potential clients.
- Develop customer pricing, proposals, and contracts.
- Follow-up on leads and sales inquiries generated by direct marketing initiatives.
- Attend and manage company sponsorships at industry conferences and associations.
- Maintain timely, complete, and accurate summary of revenue opportunities and pipeline information in CRM system.
Knowledge, Skills, abilities/minimum requirements/competencies: - Excellent consultative sales skills with experience in all facets of the sales process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including presentation skills.
- Strong team player who can build effective working relationships at all levels of organizations.
- Self-starter with a high sense of urgency, self-confidence, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people individually, or in a team-oriented and cooperative environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including Canada and Mexico.
Education, experience, certification/training: - Bachelor's level degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience in TMS sales, logistics, supply chain management and/or rail operations is a significant plus.
- Proven track record of networking and building long-term business relationships with clients.
- Experience delivering effective C-level presentations.

Physical Requirements: - Sedentary work : Assignment involves sitting at workstation (desk) most of the time (up to 8 hours) with only occasional walking and/or standing
- Keyboarding : Primarily using fingers for typing
- Talking : Expressing or communicating verbally through use of spoken words (accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others)
- Hearing : Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
- Visual : Through close visual acuity, required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading (with or without correction).
- Environment : Work is performed within an office setting and therefore there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions (i.e., extreme heat, cold, noise, etc.).
