**Overview**CHI Health CUMC-Bergan, a leading healthcare provider in the Omaha region, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an Operating Room Nurse at CHI Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care to our patients. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.**Responsibilities**$20,000 Sign on BonusUp to $10,000 Education Assistance AvailableCollaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgery.Assist the surgical team in various procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment.Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia, and overall well-being during surgery.Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care instructions.Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.**Qualifications**Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse preferred.BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association.ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications through American Heart Association after 5 months.Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.**Pay Range**$36.00 - $52.20 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
