Summary
Perform activities related to the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL and CACHE/IRIS databases. Performs installations, upgrades, backups, and configuration. Addresses ongoing database optimization and focuses upon implementation / maintenance of critical alarms to ensure database uptime service level targets are achieved.Confer with IT Technical Leadership teams for database design specifications, including physical/virtual computing platforms.Provides ongoing oversight and implementation of industry-leading database capabilities of Microsoft SQL databases, including design and programming. Position requires support for other duties, as assigned; including ongoing production support issue resolution outside of standard work hours. (On-Call support)

Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education

Minimum: Appropriate IS Education/Training or Bachelor?s Degree or higher (in related field).

• 15 or more years of relevant experience.
