Short Description:
AWS Administrator with 7+ yrs experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud security and automation tools is ideal. Will manage deployment, monitoring, and support of AWS-based environments.
Description:
As an AWS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our cloud-based infrastructure to support our applications and services. This role involves managing the deployment, monitoring, and support of AWS-based environments to ensure high availability, reliability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on AWS. The role requires a strong understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security best practises, and the ability to automate tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our cloud environments are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain AWS Infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability and security.
  • Implement and manage cloud security measures, including IAM roles, security groups and VPC configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Automate cloud operations using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the AWS environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Stay updated on AWS services and best practices to ensure optimal use of cloud technologies.
Bachelor's or mater's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • 7+ years proven experience as an integration architect with a focus on Salesforce, Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouse) AWS ETL tools and Business RulesEngines.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns, API design, and data integration strategies.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python), database systems, and middleware technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • A deep understanding of data governance, security and compliance.
