Job Description

The QA Technician will support the quality and operational teams in the sugar processing operation. In this role, you will perform laboratory analysis and monitor the operation while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with the Quality and Food Safety systems in a GFSI certified facility.

+ Perform routine analysis on raw materials, in process and final products to ensure that finished products meet required specifications prior to releasing shipments

+ Conduct product release procedures and generate Certificates of Analysis

+ Perform calibration of lab equipment

+ Perform plant wide monitoring activities to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, safety, food safety and quality assurance practices

+ Maintain proper documentation in all formats of record keeping in a legible manner

+ Report concise and professional communication in all forms; verbal, written and electronically
