Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Developer to drive growth for our ammonia refrigeration small projects group. This individual will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, nurture relationships with existing clients, and develop strategies to expand our footprint in key markets such as food processing, cold storage, and pharmaceuticals.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to deliver customized solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify new market opportunities for small ammonia refrigeration projects, including retrofits, upgrades, and system expansions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate target markets, build customer relationships, and achieve sales goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the refrigeration and cold storage industries.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
  • Consult with clients to understand their operational challenges and propose tailored refrigeration solutions.
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and cost estimates to prospective clients.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, service, and procurement, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting the small projects market segment.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and report sales activities, market feedback, and pipeline status to management.
  • Use CRM tools to maintain records of client interactions and progress on sales opportunities.
Industry Networking:
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance the company's visibility and establish connections.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the ammonia refrigeration or HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and small projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
