Job Description:
Responsible for selling company product and services to new and existing customers. Prepare customer proposals including financial pricing, specifications, and terms & conditions. Provide technical assistance to interpret, analyze, and resolve, manufacturing, installation, and field operating problems. Prepare short- and long-range sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for developing new markets, customer pipeline, products, and services to drive year-over-year growth.
  • Prepare customer proposals with financial pricing, specifications, and terms and conditions, that align with business goals.
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) to effectively manage your sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, and capture critical customer information to optimize performance.
  • Work with sales leaders to set quarterly and annual fiscal goals for orders and margins.
  • Develop accurate short- and long-term sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territories.
  • Cultivate partnerships with prospects and existing customers to identify and address needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing, installation, and field operating issues.
  • Work with internal teams to provide tailored solutions for major equipment and modifications.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and customer visits to strengthen industry presence.
  • Monitor and share competitive trends, market needs, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
Education & Experience
  • We encourage those with experience in Customer Service Management, Project Management, Solutions Design, Engineering or the equivalent to apply.
  • Ideally in the capital equipment field, but not required.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to accurately capture technical details for addressing customer challenges and developing innovative solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess market trends and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or certifications preferred.

This position does not directly lead other team members.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
  • Travel by air or car frequently
