Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
License: Licensure in Idaho
Certifications: No certifications necessary
Must-Have: Experience treating acute hospital patients, including trauma, stroke, debility, orthopedics
Job Description:
- Provide therapy services in an acute care hospital setting.
- Treat a patient ratio of 10-14 patients per day.
- Use conventional physical therapy equipment, including tilt tables, parallel bars, walkers, and exercise equipment.
- Perform typical procedures such as gait training, therapeutic exercise, transfers, general mobility training, and education.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, and communicate effectively with providers, case managers, and nurses.
- Be adaptable to daily changes and flexible in different patient care scenarios.
- Opportunities to float to areas including ICU, general orthopedics, and debility floors.
- Adhere to the dress code wearing hunter/forest green scrubs.
- Preferred: Prior experience with burn patients is advantageous but not required.
