Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to:
•Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of locate requests to be completed each day.
•Ourmission is to correctly, safely, and efficiently locate and mark undergroundutilities including, electric and gas lines primarily, marking their properlocation using marking paint, flags, and whiskers in some cases. In some areasELM does also locate communications or other facilities as well. Localmanagement can provide specifically what utilities we service in your area.
•Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
•Receivedaily route and locate requests by logging in each morning from your vehicle/mobileoffice handheld smartphone. No need to come to an office every day. The daynormally will start at your residence and ends on the last locate jobcompleted.
•Respondto emergency calls in a timely manner as directed
•Workperiodic overtime and weekend on-call rotation may be requested
Specificqualifications for the position include:
•Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.
