General Statement of Duties
This is a 260-days (12 months), 8 hours per day position. The starting salary is $47,788.15 or based on promotion policy for internal candidates. This position is open until filled, for the 2024-25 school year.
Essential Duties
Performs a wide variety of accounting/financial tasks;
Receives forms and documents from vendors, verifies and processes for payment;
Ability to proficiently read, spell, and proofread sometimes complex material;
Ability to file through alphabetical, numerical, and chronological systems;
Ability to maintain records, organize, and effectively use the telephone;
Ability to understand and efficiently follow and carry out directions;
Ability to interpret written material and effectively communicate verbally;
Knowledge necessary to compose and prepare effective correspondence;
Ability to schedule and coordinate meetings and conferences;
Ability to accurately verify data;
Oversee SmartFind functions and processes for the school;
Ability to learn the policies, procedures, and services provided by the administrator to whom assigned;
Ability to exercise mature judgment and to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public;
Ability and desire to convey a positive and sincere image to patrons and the community at large;
Maintain Facility Use master calendar and requests;
Serves as back-up for Attendance and Registrar duties; and
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school graduate or equivalent (business school or some college preferred). Leadership qualities and communication skills are necessary. Ability to use computers in a broad range of applications such as but not limited to the following: Word Processing, Spreadsheet Data Entry and Spreadsheet Design, Database Maintenance, and Internet Search Engines. Experience with Oracle, Google Docs, HCPS Web Reporting, MacSchool, SmartFind, and Entourage preferred.
