Position Summary: Responsible for supporting Electronic Technicians as well as wiring, troubleshooting and programming equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs high-level tasks such as electronic troubleshooting, wiring, and repairing oilfield service equipment.
- Creates schedule for technicians to effectively meet production requirements.
- Performs audits.
- Works in the field and resolves issues when necessary.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, power supplies, instrumentation, gages and test equipment.
- Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
- Informs appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
- Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
- Assists, mentors, and trains other maintenance and/or Level I, Level II and Level III technicians.
- Coaches and evaluates subordinates performance either verbally or in a written format.
- Provides feedback to the Supervisor regarding the employees' performance or may assist in performance evaluations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Educational and Other Requirements: - High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program is a plus.
- Must have served as an Electronic Technician Level III for a minimum of 2 years or have equivalent working experience.
- Must have a high degree of knowledge of the equipment and demonstrate the ability to repair the equipment with no supervision.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently on assigned projects.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Class C driver's license.
- Ability to comprehend and demonstrate proficiency of complex electrical circuits.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment.
- Frequent travel may be required.
- Must be highly safety conscious.
- Must work independently and as a member of team.
- Sensitive to confidential information
Mental and Physical Requirements: - Able to read, speak and write English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.
- Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as required.

- Lifting up to 50lbs on occasion

- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
