As a General Dentist , you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating various dental conditions to ensure optimal oral health and deliver the highest standard of care in our office while leading our team of dental assistants and hygienists. This is a flexible part-time position working 2 days per week. Our Associates enjoy healthcare benefits, malpractice insurance reimbursement, 401K matching, employer-paid CE, and work-related reimbursement of expenses tax valued at upwards of $32,000 of annual benefits and a pathway to ownership.Responsibilities:Perform dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health issuesDevelop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needsAdminister local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canalsConduct routine cleanings and preventive treatments to maintain oral healthEducate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniquesCollaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient careMaintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (such as Denticon)Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain an aseptic technique throughout all proceduresStay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional developmentExperience:Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental schoolValid state dental license in good standingProven experience in general dentistry, including pediatric dentistryProficiency in medical terminology, dental office procedures, and medical codingFamiliarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnosisStrong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocolsExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff membersWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Dentists.
