• 24hr call: 7am-7am
• Specific Dates:
  • March 13th 7:00am to March 17th 7:00am
  • April 10th at7:00am to April 14th 7:00am
  • Potential need for 1-2 weeks/month

• Clinical Details

• 24/7 on call covers for any newborn care from OB, admission consult from ED, or called for med surge for neonate and peds patients
• Expected to round daily 1-4 hours (varies), and provider is the primary care for the newborn/peds patient
• Admissions per day: Roughly 1 per month through ED
• Patients per day: Varies depending on the day 0-6
• No NICU, if sick baby stabilizes and transfer
• Must be comfortable being solo provider, no backup call

• Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrics or IM/FM (If IM/FM, MUST have significant Peds and Neonatal experience)
• OR License
• 3-year Pediatric Residency program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP
• Clean Malpractice/background (for March dates)
• Local, no flights - Highly Preferred
• Must be comfortable with Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lines, emergency meds to be able to stabilize and transfer if needed
• Must be able to demonstrate that provider has provided inpatient care to at least 24 patients as the attending physician during last 24 months
