Job Description:
The Staff Nurse, RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care by developing, implementing, and evaluating the patient's plan of care. This role is essential in creating an atmosphere that aligns with our vision of being the region's most trusted healthcare partner. As the primary caregiver, the Staff Nurse, RN will:
- Provide direct patient care.
- Work collaboratively with other care team members, physicians, and patients/families.
- Aim to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Access confidential patient information and make decisions independently or in collaboration with others.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Be flexible to float to similar units and other locations depending on census requirements.
- Work every other weekend.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.
- Work holidays as required.
Note: Holiday coverage is required for this position.
