The role of Depot Electronic Technician Level I is to be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and/or repairing all electronic-, electrical-, and computer-based equipment & systems, as well as other hardware & peripherals including point of sale equipment down to the component level, supporting Belk IT operations and/or customers outside the Belk organization. This role requires knowledge of commonly used computer concepts, practices, and procedures. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment but rather relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under general supervision. The role is one that requires an ability to work independently and build and maintain strong working relationships. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver a high level of quality service.
