Overview:
Clow Valve has an opening for a Maintenance Laborer at our Metal Casting Facility.
THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION
STARTING PAY: $23.03
Maintenance Laborer overview: cleaning around machines, sweeping sand and cleaning up other assigned work areas. Acting under the oversight of higher level mechanics with general entry-level maintenance items that may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Laborers responsibilites include but are not limited to:
-Vaccuming excess sand in hard to reach areas.
-Assisting maintenance department in other faucets of the Metal Casting FacilitY.
-Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Maintenance Laborers qualifications include but are not limited to:
-Candidates are required to wear proper PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, respirators, uniform and hearing protection.
-Must be able to stand, bend, twist for greater than 8 hours per day.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must be able to operate forklifts, overhead lifting devices and other moving machinery.
-Must be willing to work in hot conditions.
