A Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist:
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Supervise Assistant and Aide staff per board guidelines
  • Design and create splints as prescribed by physicians
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to improve residents' functional levels
  • Use therapeutic exercises and activities to support strength, range of motion, and motor coordination
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
  • At least one year of experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Current licensure in good standing with the state board
