Summary of the role: The Service & Sales BDR is responsible for generating both Service and Sales appointments through data mining our customer database. This role will manage inbound calls for both the Service and Sales departments. The position focuses on customer retention and loyalty, prospect outreach, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience by providing information on services, sales upgrades, and follow-up on appointments.
Essential Duties: - Effectively communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain a prospect tracking and follow-up schedule in our customer database.
- Make outbound calls to invite prospects to the dealership for both Service and Sales opportunities.
- Contact customers for retention and loyalty opportunities, including service reminders, vehicle upgrades, and follow-ups on special-order parts.
- Contact and reschedule missed appointments for both Service and Sales departments.
- Ensure customer records are consistently updated and accurate.
- Advise customers on service maintenance schedules, recall campaigns, and vehicle upgrade options.
- Explain service and sales processes, including hours of operation and department locations.
- Occasionally support the service drive with customer outreach for test drive opportunities and follow-ups.
- Handle other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications: - Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
- Customer Service and/or Sales experience preferred; Automotive experience NOT required
- Friendly and approachable, with a natural ability to connect with customers and foster lasting relationships.
- Basic mathematical skills for general calculations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Valid Driver's License required.
