Position Summary This positionis responsible for the maintaining of control systems for equipment anddocumentation revisions to ensure the existing environment operates meeting allbusiness targets. This role will be a member of our Controls Engineering teamsupporting and ensuring efficient operations on automation, installation andlaunch, drives, new equipment installation and revising existing equipment toinclude all documents and schematics related to the equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain,update, and modify existing controls systems including robotic programs, ladderlogic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface,pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, distribution and control.

• Conduct allwork following all safety policies and safe work practices.
• Maintainmachine controls including robotic, electrical, electronic, pneumatic,hydraulic, mechanical and vision systems.
• Conductsroutine maintenance of all equipment.
• Supportengineering and maintenance on existing machine control modifications,electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and vision systems.
• Keep currentall hard copies and electronic data bases: all electrical, pneumaticschematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robotprograms; machine power distribution and all related vendor controls componentpart documentation.
• Completeback-ups of all electronic machine control and robotic programs on set schedule
• Maintaindata collection system from shop floor processing equipment.
• Maintainexisting plant floor machine control Ethernet gateways, links, and connections.
• Maintain allsub machine control data highways.
• Maintain andupdate controls portion of machine standards.
• Coordinatewith and aid company systems personnel with plant floor Ethernet machine droprouting and Ethernet message traffic control.
• Completecorrespondence, forms and reports using computer and applicable software.
• Handleconfidential information on a regular basis.
• Encourage 5Sand housekeeping practices and lead by example.
• Promotepositive and effective communication and treat all co-workers with respect.
• Proactivelyparticipate in Continual Improvement activities
• Adhere tocustomer requirements, Business Management System, and company policies.
• Performother duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field or 5 years direct work experience in a manufacturing environment - Required
• Programmable Logic Controllers experience - Required
• Able to use a fork-lift, man lift, and / or scissor lift.
• Always exhibit a high level of flexibility and ability to multi-task.
• Competent in reading and interpreting schematics and mechanical drawings.
