What you'll do:
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing equipment and systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a keen interest in the maintenance field. The position spans 90 days, with the potential to transition into a full-time Maintenance Technician role. The work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
•Assist experienced technicians in performing preventative maintenance on various mechanical and electrical systems
•Maintain and organize shop
•Learn to troubleshoot issues and assist in repairs of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs of inspections, repairs, and parts inventory
•Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
•Contribute to special projects and improvement initiatives as needed
Requirements
What you'll need:
•Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
•Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment is a plus.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
