Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Systems Analyst, you will:
•Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve project goals.
•Data Management: Oversee data architecture, design, modeling, implementation, and maintenance of solutions in the clinical data ecosystem.
•Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
•Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and alignment with industry standards.
•Modeling: Lead the design and development of dimensional data models, implementing best practices in data modeling to support business intelligence and reporting.
•ETL Processes: Interpret and write source-to-target mappings (ETL transformation rules) for ETL development.
•Governance: Manage metadata and data governance processes.
•Communication: Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
•Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in systems analysis, with a focus on data warehousing in the healthcare payer sector.
•Expertise in dimensional modeling and SQL.
•Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
•Experience with DB2, ETL tools (Ab Initio), and reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau).
•Proficiency in data architecture and design, including Erwin.
•Knowledge of the healthcare payer industry (claims, enrollment, and clinical decision support systems).
