Please visit for more information about our amazing clinic!Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills in children.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and goals.Provide training and education to families, caregivers, and other professionals.Collaborate with occupational, physical, and behavioral therapists to ensure coordinated care.Engage in research to enhance understanding of communication processes and develop new assessment and treatment methods.Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.Actively manage and monitor your schedule, confirm appointments, and coordinate with families for alternative times if necessary.Qualifications:NJ Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) (Required)Experience with young children (ages 0-5 years) is preferredSkills and Competencies:Assessment and Diagnosis: Proficient in using standardized tools, clinical observations, and interviews to diagnose speech and language disorders or delays.Treatment Planning and Intervention: Skilled in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans to improve speech, language, social communication, and feeding/swallowing abilities.Language Development: Strong understanding of language development milestones and strategies to support language growth.Articulation and Phonology: Expertise in assessing and treating articulation and phonological disorders.Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Knowledgeable in AAC systems and strategies for effective communication.Collaboration and Teamwork: Effective collaboration with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.Parent and Caregiver Education: Ability to educate and guide parents on promoting speech and language development at home.Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic diversity, with the ability to adapt assessment and treatment approaches.Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Proficient in maintaining detailed records and making data-driven decisions for intervention adjustments.Professional Development: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology.Benefits:Competitive Pay with Excellent BenefitsRetirement Plan with Employer Match (after qualification period)Sick LeaveProfessional Education ReimbursementConditions of Employment:Must be eligible to work in the United StatesProficient in written and spoken EnglishSubject to background check
