Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:

• There is a collection of 15 - 20 reports they need to immediately produce while this re-organization takes place
• There are also a number of other data platform changes occurring

Top Skills:

• Power BI and Excel for producing reports, dashboards, etc.
• Azure/Azure data lakes - this is where their data source is
• SQL/Postgres SQL - they use this for metric driven reporting
• Snowflake - that is what their Electronic Medical System is based on

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team in supporting a healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and data integration, with experience creating impactful reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel. The role requires a deep understanding of modern data platforms and proficiency in Azure Data Lakes, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake to ensure accurate and actionable insights are delivered to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Dashboards : Create visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel to support data-driven decision-making for healthcare stakeholders.
• Data Integration : Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to connect, model, and transform data from multiple sources, including Azure Data Lakes , SQL , PostgreSQL , and Snowflake .
• Performance Optimization : Optimize queries, data models, and visualization performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Data Analysis : Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for operational improvement in healthcare processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with business users to gather requirements, validate data accuracy, and ensure deliverables meet organizational needs.
• Documentation and Standards : Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, dashboards, and processes while adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
• Quality Assurance : Perform rigorous testing and validation of reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills :
  • Proven experience with Power BI development, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lakes, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
  • Strong data modeling and ETL skills.
• Soft Skills :
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization roles, with a focus on healthcare or a related industry.
