Overview:
We have a wonderful opportunity for you to join the clinical leadership team of our world-renowned Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI) formally known as Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners within CASSI to provide for the effective SLP clinic management at our Odenton CASSI program.
Additionally, you will be part of the Speech-Language Pathology & Assistive Technology leadership team. Within this cross-Institute group, you will provide clinical leadership in speech-language pathology clinical practice, as well as receive professional leadership development support.
Foundational Leadership/Supervision Experience Preferred
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
providing clinical and operational oversight for all clinic SLP functions, including working with our scheduling team to manage efficient patient access to our services
supervising and supporting professional development for a team of strong clinical professionals including certified SLPs, clinical fellows, and assistants
collaborate with a network of SLP Managers throughout the Kennedy Krieger Institute (both for clinical program development and professional leadership development!)
Qualifications:
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology granted by ASHA.
- Has or is eligible for Maryland State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
EDUCATION:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with related clinical requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years of licensed clinical experience with an emphasis on pediatric communication disorders required.
- Experience or additional coursework in administration, supervision, or management preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
