Position Summary
The Data Architect will collaborate with users from various levels of management and team members to develop project/task requirements to address all inputs, dependencies, and downstream implications. Located at World Headquarters for Arrow International, this is not a remote or hybrid role.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement effective database solutions for storing and retrieving company data including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects.
• Create and maintain data warehouses. Design and optimize data flows across multiple ETL processes and technology platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and various end users to understand business requirements, translate requirements into technical specifications, and develop project plans.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data testing and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing SQL queries for performance improvements, reduce redundancies, and streamline data flows.
• Support and enhance existing databases, programs, ETLs, and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented data designs and programs.

Requirements
Experience and Education

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing database solutions.
• 3+ years of experience functioning as a Data Architect
• Requires advanced Transact SQL skills and writing complex stored procedures.
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications.
• Experience in any of the following is a plus : SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SalesForce, Dataloader, Tableau, Power BI, Redgate, GIT, Azure, AWS, Power Automate, REST APIs, JSON, IBM iSeries, RPG, Sage, NetSuite.
