Job Title: IT Support Technician
Contract Length: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire

Work Model: 5 Days Onsite
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in San Jose, California. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team based on performance. As an IT Support Technician, you will provide top-notch technical support and customer service to our employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Google Workspaces, MacOS, and audio/visual equipment.
- Manage and prioritize multiple help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users.
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio/visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support and troubleshooting.
Must-Have Skills: - Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive end-user experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Excellent stress management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Google Work spaces and Mac OS.
- Experience supporting audio and visual equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice-to-Have Skills: - JAMF Certification(s).
- Google Certification(s).
- Previous experience providing in-person help desk support.
Qualifications: - Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week in San Jose, California.
